The bombardment came in torrents.
Like wedding confetti
Shrapnel of death and destruction
Cascade sumptuously from the ochre skies
On silhouette skyscrapers and presidential palaces
And on the abode of innocent souls
The shrapnel of death and anguish
Vent their rage and frustration.
Dear esteemed reader
At last the rape of Abyssinian has just began
The bestial arrogant mayor
Enthroned in stupendous wealth accruing from oil,
Amidst the squalor and deprivation of his subjects
And been poked on by the great emperor,
Of possessing weapons of mass death
Insist she will not strip,
For the great emperor
To glee at her nakedness.
